What are DC brushed motor? A brush motor is a DC motor with a fixed main pole and brushes on the stator and an armature winding and commutator on the rotor. The electrical energy from the DC power supply enters the armature winding through the brushes and commutator to produce armature current, and the magnetic field generated by the armature current interacts with the main magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque, which makes the motor rotate and drive the load.
