On October 19, 2024, the first offline exhibition of the 136th Canton Fair came to an end. On October 27, the second phase of the 136th Canton Fair ended. From October 31st to November 4th, the third phase of the 136th Canton Fair was held. On November 4, the 136th China Import and Export Fair came to an end, and Zhou Shanqing, director of the Canton Fair News Center and deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center, introduced that the export intention turnover of the Canton Fair reached 24.95 billion US dollars, an increase of 1% over the previous session. On November 5, it was reported that exhibitors at this year's Canton Fair had uploaded about 3.75 million exhibits on the official website of the Canton Fair, attracting 450,000 overseas buyers from 224 countries and regions around the world to participate online.

With the theme of "Serving High-quality Development and Promoting High-level Opening-up", this year's Canton Fair has a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, a total of 74,000 booths, and 55 exhibition areas and 171 special areas. The three phases focus on the themes of "advanced manufacturing", "quality home" and "better life", and recruit new quality productivity.

There were more than 30,000 exhibitors in the offline exhibition, including about 29,400 export exhibition enterprises, an increase of nearly 800 over the previous session. A large number of new enterprises, new products, new technologies and new forms of business have emerged. There were nearly 4,600 new exhibitors. There are more than 8,000 enterprises with the titles of national high-tech, specialized, special and new "little giants", and individual champions in the manufacturing industry, an increase of more than 40% over the previous session. There are about 3,600 enterprises related to "new three things", digital technology and intelligent manufacturing, more than 14,000 enterprises with independent brands, and more than 18,000 enterprises that have passed various international certifications.

There will be 1.15 million new products, 1.04 million green products, and 1.11 million products with independent intellectual property rights on display, all of which have increased significantly compared with the previous session. About 400 new product launch events were held, an increase of more than 30% over the previous year. This year's Canton Fair also optimized the cross-border e-commerce exhibition area and trade service area to provide full-chain trade services for exhibitors. At the same time, it will continue to set up import exhibitions in three exhibition periods, with an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, attracting 730 enterprises from 49 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition.
