History of the Canton Fair

The China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), founded on April 25, 1957, is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and undertaken by the China Foreign Trade Center. It is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete range of commodities, the largest number of buyers, the widest distribution of countries and regions, and the best transaction effect, and is known as "China's No. 1 Exhibition".

The Canton Fair has been held for two years a year, and the 136th Canton Fair is about to kick off.

The Canton Fair is held twice a year, in spring and autumn, and the fixed area is Guangzhou.

The 136th Canton Fair in the fall of 2024 will be held from October 15th to November 4th.
