A leading microwave oven manufacturer in China aimed to expand its product line to the European and North American markets. The new microwave oven model needed to support microwave and grilling functions in one unit, offering high performance, low noise, and long-term durability.
To access these markets, the product required full compliance with CE, UL, FCC, RoHS, ISO9001, and other international certifications. As a critical component, the cooling fan motor had to operate reliably under both 110V/60Hz and 220V/50Hz, while passing stringent quality and noise tests.
Certification complexity: The motor needed to meet multiple international standards, especially for safety and EMC performance.
Heat resistance: The motor had to remain stable under long-term exposure to the high heat produced by the magnetron and grill components.
